Privacy Notice
1. Who is responsible for your data
The data controller for SEQNCS is Flavio Vampa, Via Saini 1, Meina (NO), Italy. Privacy and support contact: hello@seqncs.com.

3. Legal bases and purposes
Account and service data are processed to provide the service you request and to take steps connected with that service. Security, abuse prevention, privacy-minimised product analytics and reliability diagnostics are processed where necessary for SEQNCS's legitimate interests in operating, evaluating and improving a secure Early Access service. Early Access application data are processed to administer the requested Founding Early Access programme and evaluate the launch cohort.
4. Founding Early Access
Founding Early Access is currently free. No payment card is requested and there is no automatic renewal. The first 30 accepted users receive 30 days of PRO access. The displayed €39/month amount is the planned commercial price for a future paid launch and is not a current charge during Founding Early Access.
5. Browser storage
SEQNCS uses browser local/session storage for functional purposes such as authentication persistence, interface preferences, export-branding preferences and temporary report/lookahead configuration. These items help the application function and are not used to upload XER schedule content to SEQNCS servers.
6. Service providers and international processing
SEQNCS uses Google Firebase for authentication, hosting, server functions and Firestore, and Namecheap Private Email for operational email. Firebase states that customers generally act as controller and Google generally acts as processor for customer personal data. Firebase Authentication is operated from United States data centres; Google provides contractual safeguards for applicable international transfers. Provider infrastructure may change over time.
7. Analytics and diagnostics
SEQNCS uses a first-party, cookieless analytics and reliability endpoint hosted within the same Firebase environment to understand Early Access usage and diagnose failures. Events are limited to allowlisted product actions (for example app load, schedule loaded, analysis run and export type), pseudonymous session/account identifiers where available, application version, module, technical result, export duration/size bucket and sanitised error codes. The current analytics implementation does not store IP addresses or precise location, and does not require third-party analytics cookies. SEQNCS does not intentionally send XER content, XER filenames, project names, activity names/IDs, WBS/activity-code values, free-text schedule content, payment-card data, passwords or authentication tokens to this analytics store. Critical frontend/export failures may generate a technical alert email to SEQNCS support without schedule content.
8. Retention and deletion
- XER schedule content: no SEQNCS server retention in the normal analysis workflow.
- Account data: retained while the account is active and deleted or anonymised following a validated deletion request, subject to provider backup/recovery cycles and any legal obligations.
- Founding Early Access application data: retained for up to 12 months after the end of the Founding Early Access campaign, unless deletion is requested sooner or longer retention is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
- Product analytics: retained for up to 90 days, then automatically deleted by the SEQNCS retention job.
- Frontend error and export diagnostics: retained for up to 30 days, then automatically deleted by the SEQNCS retention job.
- Operational support email: retained only as long as reasonably necessary to manage the request, programme or related legal/security needs.
Until self-service account deletion is available, request deletion from the email address associated with your account by writing to hello@seqncs.com with the subject “Delete my SEQNCS account”.
9. Your rights
Where the GDPR applies, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, and to data portability where applicable. You may also lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority. Requests can be sent to hello@seqncs.com. Identity verification may be requested where reasonably necessary.
10. Security
SEQNCS uses authenticated server endpoints, Firebase ID-token verification, server-side entitlement records, restricted secrets and HTTPS hosting. No online service can guarantee absolute security; users should protect account credentials and avoid sharing sensitive schedule files with third parties unless authorised to do so.
11. Changes
This notice may be updated as SEQNCS moves from Founding Early Access to paid commercial access or adds new analytics, diagnostics or providers. Material changes will be reflected by a new “Last updated” date before the changed processing applies.
